1. View Split Container on Hover.
While hovering over a split container space the cursor changes to a resize icon.
2. Hovering above the resize handle does not change the cursor.
3. Access the Container Views.
A user can access the split container by clicking and dragging anywhere along the split between the two adjacent views, or panes, or by clicking and dragging the resize handle located in the middle of the split container space.
4. Resize the panes.
Dragging the resize handle reduces the width/height of one pane and increases the width/height of the other.
5 Click to resize.
Double clicking the resize handle icon will expand or collapse one of the two adjacent views, i.e., when one view is used for a navigation system and the other for a content view, and close the navigation view allowing the content view to take up the entire area.
Double click again to restore the default layout and navigation to original width.
6. Alter data view.
Hold the resize pane to narrow the view in the center panel, and widen the view in the right panel.
7. Click to change panels.
Click in the new panel to begin work.
8. Add an additional panel.
Add an additional panel when drilling down through files are necessary.
9. Back out of panels.
Clickon previous file name to back out of addional panel.
10. Back out of additional panels.
Click on previous file name to close third panel.
